About this Location
Mobile Operations is responsible for the planning and facilitation of events outside of our brick-and-mortar centers at the 30+ installations in USO-Metro’s footprint. These programs range from Heroes Harvest and Trees for Heroes to Shine (formerly Project Cinderella) and Project USO Elf. Additionally, the Mobile Operations team provides unit support efforts through our fleet of Mobile USOs.
Funded through a generous donation by the Boeing Company, the Mobile USO is designed to significantly expand the capacity of services and assistance provided to the military and their families in our region. Events and activities include Homecomings, Deployments, Training Exercises, Military Community Events, Command Air Shows, etc.
The centerpiece of the program is a 34’ custom “Trailer” completely outfitted with 7 HDTV, 3 XBOX one, Wi-Fi, Stage, Cell phone charging stations and Audio.
USO-Metro also owns and operates two Mini Mobile USOs, allowing for the team to assist in more support efforts depending on the need.
For questions related to mobile support and field operations, please contact Kyle Barr at kbarr@uso.org.

"Volunteers are integral to USO-Metro, the organization can't serve it's purpose without them. As a retiree, volunteering at Reagan twice a month initially seemed minimal, but it didn't take long to realize how important that time is to each lounge and center. I'd encourage my fellow retirees to give back. Taking that time each month feels good. The past seven years have been more enjoyable than you'd imagine - assisting, reconnecting, and providing that public service. It 's absolutely what you make of it."Tony, a seven year volunteer with Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport USO Lounge: Find out how to support USO
